Our Father,
We thank you for everyone gathered here now.
Thank you that you promise us that where two or three are gathered you are there in the midst. Lord we welcome You amongst us today and celebrate the gift of life that you have lavished upon each of us.
Thank you for your Spirit that guides us and convicts us.
Thank you for knowing each of us by name - For we are nothing without you
As we worship, we ask that You would come by Your Holy Spirit and inspire our hearts today.
Come Father, fill our lives with Your love,
Fill our conversations with Your grace and truth,
Fill this meeting with Your presence.
We ask this for Your glory and praise.
Amen.

Heavenly Father, we approach you, not simply to proclaim your good news, but to claim your grace for this community and for the world. We pray for the people of this community, Lord. Grant that your Spirit will travel through our streets. Protect the children from hunger, abuse, and neglect. Prod us to make sure they will learn well the things that build, and not the things that destroy. Teach us, who are the children's models and teachers, to care for the generations that you have entrusted to us. We pray for the people in our community that face another day without peace. Grant that they will turn away from weapons that wound to instruments that heal. Nourish their bodies with strength, their minds with insight, and their souls with hope. Let the everyone know that you have made us one people.
We pray for all who are here today. We pray for all who are facing transitions and troubles; all who are coping with illness, recovering from loss, and encountering loneliness. Bless them, Lord, with your promises and with our presence so that we can be unafraid to stand with one another in selfless service to each other, even as we bow before you.
In the name of our Creator, Our God, we pray. Amen.

Today is Good Friday – Passion Friday.
I cannot think of any other verse to quote today then: John 3:16 (NIV)
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Please join me in Prayer:
Lord John 3:16 says it all, you gave up everything to save us from damnation.
We can do no less than give ourselves in you to our Brothers and Sisters. As written in 1 John 3:16 (NIV):
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”
That is what you mean to be your disciple. Our life indwelt with you, for the salvation of our brothers and sisters.
Sometimes, Father, that is hard. I think one of our biggest issues is complacency. We are secure, maybe even happy in where we are. (It’s a scary world out there and we can be hesitant or even afraid) We think that what we did yesterday is good enough for tomorrow.
On this day, let us remember that Jesus was never complacent. He lived for you and he lived for us. We ask that you kindle in us the fire of your love. Make our hearts burn with the passion of Jesus. Take us from being just plain ole Christians to Christ-focused Disciples.
We are here for you, as your hands and feet in this world, use us to further your Kingdom, fill us with the desire is be with you now and for all eternity.
Deuteronomy 31:6 states:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Lord, let us not stray from the path you have laid down for us. For your plan for our lives is greater than we can imagine. We pray that you shine a light upon our path to steer us in the right directions. Lord, fill us with Holy Spirit who will be our guidance.
In Jesus we pray – Amen
