A Rhythm of Life is an intentional arrangement by which I regularly and routinely make myself available for God’s work of transformation.

Ruth Haley Barton finds transformation through a 'rhythm of life.' John Ortberg finds transformation through a ‘rule of life’ to help grow a well-ordered heart. Richard Foster identifies the church needs “not for a greater number of intelligent people, or gifted people, but deep people.”

Any rhythm that calls our intention and attention to God may be or become a spiritual practice. The rhythm of becoming deep is an exercise on the journey toward the quiet, open place in the depths of the mind; a place where the true self and the Divine meet. This rhythm is a sacred path, a never-ending pilgrimage; it is listening to the "Inner Light" as the Word guides us along the narrow path.
